Seven months under russian occupation is a life between searches, fear and complete isolation. Rostyslav Trubach from Kherson recalls how he woke up to explosions before dawn on February 24, 2022, and saw a missile flying towards Chornobaivka. Two weeks later, everything disappeared – money, transport, medicine, freedom.

And the worst thing is when people break into your house with weapons: “They undress you right in the street. And then they take a picture of your face with your passport.” He was suspected and interrogated.  He had no cash. He paid by card for a 20% kickback. Rostyslav gave this interview after he had escaped from the occupation. In a refugee camp in Warsaw.
