Without water and under the shellings, that's how Iryna had been living with her family in the “steely” Mykolaiv for six months. Every morning, she needed to go to the river to fetch water, and every evening, she would go to the shelter. Regular shellings over long periods almost destroyed the city, resulting in numerous casualties and health problems. After the de-occupation of Kherson, citizens returned to Mykolaiv, restarting their lives in familiar and unfamiliar places. Iryna also came back home.
