“We hid in the basement of the kindergarten. Two days after we decided to leave, they shelled it. As we were leaving Avdiivka, a missile destroyed our home,” says Olga Orynnyk. We were leaving Avdiivka without any petrol amidst constant shelling. Olga had forgotten her documents at home, and they burned there. Tearfully, she recalls how Avdiivka used to thrive before the war and how the occupying army is now destroying her city.
