Nataliia Khmilevska is the choirmaster of the vocal ensemble PARTES, a music director, conductor, teacher, and coach of Baroque singing. She is a co-founder of Open Opera Ukraine and the founder of the early music vocal ensemble Vox Animae. In addition, she is the artistic director and conductor of the first amateur Baroque choir B.A.Ch., which unites more than 50 regular participants.

The full-scale invasion became a turning point in her life and work.  Ms. Nataliia began to revive cultural projects, including the work of the B.A.Ch. choir, which became a source of strength and therapy for many participants. People even returned from abroad to sing together again. Music helps to overcome crisis, regain strength, and feel the future despite the war. For Khmilevska, this is proof that culture can be a form of resilience and a heroic act.
