Volodymyr Obodzynskyi

“When I told my story in The Hague, the judge was crying!”

Testimonies of Ukrainians who became victims of the Russian invasion of Ukraine were documented in The Hague. The symbolic trial lasted one week. The People’s Tribunal was broadcast online. Real judges, prosecutors, and lawyers from many countries of the world listened to the testimonies of Ukrainian victims. The hero of the Museum of Civilian Voices, Volodymyr Obodzynskyi from the village of Yurivka in Zhytomyr region, is one of the witnesses at the tribunal. Two Russian bombs fell on his house and killed three generations of the family: his wife, son and daughter, and his one-year-old grandchildren.
