I went outside and everything was gray like Pompeii

23th of July , Odessa. My friend Faina is trying to get to her office through the rubble. Her apartment was close enough to the Cathedral Square that the glass in the windows burst from the explosion. She slept under the window. “Everything was gray,” she wrote to me later. ,,I went outside and everything was gray like Pompeii,,

P.S. today I saw heartwarming video about how Odessans got together and independently try to cleaned their Cathedral from fragments, dust and debris, gathering together parts of the destroyed one.
