Yulianiia Kanonik left Kyiv on the night before the invasion. While still at the Rivne railway station, she learned that the capital was under attack. She was deeply worried about her fellow students who had remained in the city.
She returned to Kyiv after six months. And immersed herself in art once again. Classes at the choral conducting department were often held in a bomb shelter, but this only inspired the young woman to work even harder. Ukrainian art must not only survive this war, but also strengthen its position.
