Olena is an IDP from Kherson. During the occupation, when there was no food, electricity or gas, and she had to fetch water from the Dnipro River, she and her fellow countrymen were not afraid to come out to peaceful protests, and ran with tears of happiness to meet the Ukrainian military when the city was liberated. But the worst began when russian troops retreated to the Left Bank. Since then, they have been shelling Kherson day and night – with missiles, bombs and phosphorus, which burned out all living things. Now Olena lives in Zhytomyr and sincerely believes that she will definitely return to Kherson to rebuild her hometown after our victory.
