From the first days of the war, Straholissya found itself cut off from Kyiv and the entire country. Food and medicine could not be brought there. And no one could get out of there - the road went through the territories occupied by the Russians, where hostilities were taking place. Then the locals realized that people could only be evacuated by boats, by the Kyiv Sea. 53-year-old Andriy is one of those who got into a boat and took people out of the village, and came back with humanitarian aid.
