Yulia's house was hit by an enemy missile at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Luckily, no one was home, and she and her daughter had left for a safer city the day before, as far away from the explosions and russian aircraft as possible. When Yuliia's daughter returned to Chernihiv Region shortly afterwards, she was injured. The girl was in her dormitory when the russian shell hit. She suffered a cerebral concussion, contusion and a torn ear.
