Maryna Chornobai’s three-year-old daughter from Odesa lives with cerebral palsy. After a seizure and a long stay in the intensive care unit, Katiusha was diagnosed with hearing problems. Examinations led to the conclusion: she needs a hearing aid. But because of the war, it was difficult for the family to find the necessary funds for the devices. Katia’s father, a combatant, was undergoing treatment after being wounded. So the family was going through hard times. The girl received hearing aids as part of the “Rinat Akhmetov to Children. Now I Can Hear” project. The documentary filmmakers of the Museum of Civilian Voices captured this moment.
