“Children do not ask for New Year’s gifts, but for the war to end”

Ania is an IDP from Pokrovsk. She is the mother of two sons, Vsevolod and Vlad. The war forced them to leave their native town and move to Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. It was here that Ania met her husband, Serhii, who has been raising children as a foster father for several years. The prospect of becoming the mother of many children did not scare Ania. On the contrary, it gave her wings and a new meaning in her life! Her long-held dream of having a large, close-knit family has come true. During the interview, the woman shared her secret with the Museum of Civilian Voices. The couple is expecting another child.
