"The moment my husband said,  'let’s go to the hallway,' glass came crashing down on me"

In the summer of 2022, Antonina and her husband evacuated from the occupied city of Berdyansk, but a Russian missile caught up with them in Kyiv. On the night of April 24, 2025, a missile fragment that hit a neighboring building destroyed the family’s new home. Having climbed out from under the rubble and still not fully realizing what had happened, Antonina is grateful for only one thing — thank God she’s alive.
