Valentyn Moiseienko promised himself that if he survived Borodianka, he would definitely write a book. That’s how a documentary about the most horrific month in Borodianka’s history has been created. And it’s not just his memories, since Valentyn interviewed several hundred residents. He has compiled a complete picture of one of the greatest tragedies of this war. Valentyn reconstructed the full chronology of Borodianka’s defense and destruction. He told the story of people’s survival during the occupation and their deaths under the rubble. He also gave an account of their resistance to the barbarians of the 21st century.
