Oksana is a teacher of russian language and literature. On the first day of the full-scale war, she worked at a school in Mariupol. She learned from the news that war had broken out. However, she was ready to hold classes for her students online. But something had already fallen at the airfield not far from Oksana's house. When the shelling of Mariupol began to intensify, she felt as if her heart was turning into a small bird. It was painful for her to look at the blackened houses and the faces of her neighbors, who had become pale and kind of erased because of war.
