When the full-scale invasion began, Tetiana Voloshyna immediately joined the volunteer centre. At that time, the city was still relatively calm and internally displaced people from Popasna, Rubizhne, and Lysychansk came to Bakhmut to escape the shelling. Volunteers provided them with shelter, basic necessities and food. However, the situation began to escalate, and civilians were killed by shelling. It became dangerous to bring food and medicine into the town. Volunteers tried to help the residents to the end.
