On the eve of the full-scale russian invasion, on 23 February, Tymofii celebrated his birthday. The next day, his whole life, like most Ukrainians, changed. For 2-3 weeks, he had to hide from explosions in his basement. Throughout the war, Tymofii and his family did not leave their native Zaporizhzhia. His stepfather died defending Mariupol.
