23-year-old Karina Ershova from Bucha experienced inhuman suffering before her death. Her body was found in a mass grave along with 400 other Ukrainians.
On March 10, the communication with 23-year-old Karyna Yershova from Bucha was lost. After the city was liberated, her body was found in the mass grave in the churchyard, together with the bodies оf more than 400 other Ukrainians.
The occupiers grabbed the girl in the street; then, she was tortured, raped, and shot dead.
“Most fingernails were gone as if she was trying to defend herself. Her hands were burnt down to the bones, but the silver rings she had always worn remained on her fingers. There was also a tourniquet fixed on the girl’s leg, probably to stop the hemorrhage from the shot,” — stated the representatives of the Bucha city council.
In 2014, Karyna’s family left Donetsk, but the Russian fascists still caught up with them near Kyiv.
