Vladyslav Heraskevych presents "Helment of Memory. Continuation of the Story" at the Museum of Civilian Voices of the Rimat Akhmetov Foundation

On April 29, an event will take place at the Museum of Civilian Voices of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, continuing a story that has already been heard around the world. Ukrainian skeleton racer Vladyslav Heraskevych will present a new “Helmet of Memory. Continuation of the Story” — a symbol that preserves the names of those whose lives were taken by Russia’s war against Ukraine.

This time, the helmet is dedicated to 22 athletes from Mariupol, including 8 children. Their portraits were created by artist Iryna Prots. Each of them is not just an image, but a story of a life cut short by war, unfulfilled dreams, and lost victories.

On the same day, an exhibition dedicated to the memory of fallen athletes will open. The “Helmet of Memory” will become its central piece and will remain in the Museum for the entire duration of the exhibition.

Entry is by confirmed registration.

Date of the event: April 29, 2026
Time: starts at 17:00 (registration from 16:30)
Location: Museum of the History of Kyiv, 7 Bohdana Khmelnytskoho Street.
