On February 26, as part of the documentary project "Diaries of the Peaceful: Voices of Survivors and Those Who Did Not Survive" by the Museum of Civilian Voices of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, open filming of the "Sukhanov Speaks" project will take place at the Museum of Kyiv History.
The discussion topic is "War Without Interpretations and Manipulations: How to Preserve Historical Truth?" The guest speaker is Rena Marutyan, a professor at the Department of Global and National Security of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Her research focuses on information and psychological security, as well as information and cognitive warfare.
The discussion will explore how historical facts are distorted to manipulate societies and why propaganda is not always a negative phenomenon.
Topics to be covered:
"Sukhanov Speaks" is a YouTube project by journalist and interviewer Oleksii Sukhanov. For the first time, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions to both Oleksii Sukhanov and his guest.
